Clochandighter Woods Asset Transfer

At our August 2018 committee meeting, the sale of Clochandighter Woods by the Forestry Commission was discussed by our committee members. The committee voted in favour of pursuing a Community Asset Transfer of the woods with the aim of keeping the woods as a community asset and for community use. A Community Meeting is planned for 9th October 2018 at 7.30pm at Hillside School in Portlethen. At this meeting it is anticipated that a representative from the Forestry Commission Community Asset Transfer team will be present to answer any questions. A committee will be formed to take this forward.
